Shazeeb M Khairul Islam lives a reality that tests his spirit in every step but believes in a world where entrepreneurial initiative would transform human life by social business acumen. Shazeeb was born and brought up in a humble milieu so he always feels the urge to give back to development of the deprived portions of globe with his amazing talents and enthusiasm.
On founding YY Goshti for the would be entrepreneurs...
A Magna Cum Laude of Department of International Business, Dhaka University, Shazeeb chose to be an entrepreneur himself and he helps others to formulate their own businesses by YY Goshti, a Social Business Incubator.
As Founder of YY Goshti, Shazeeb co-founded two social businesses and supported six ventures with training, mentorship, seed capital and access to resources along with international partners.
The incubator's aim is to help the prospective entrepreneurs and shape their idea into a viable social business venture. They get the opportunity to refine their ideas, develop products and services, and work closely with successful social entrepreneurs who have built businesses that have significantly and measurably improved communities.
YY Goshti's programmes allow entrepreneurs to increase their efficiency and success rate by polishing their ideas through an intensive approach that allows direct interaction with the right kind of resources, networks and environment and thereby break free from the generic growth method.
Social Business Youth Alliance (SBYA)...
Shazeeb was a Lecturer at Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB) & United International University (UIU). But he opted to challenge his teaching profession's comfort zone for Social Business Youth Alliance- Global, a youth led organisation that exists to create social business leaders.
The core of its model is to harness the power of young people, entrepreneurship and technology to bring social change. The living breathing monolith that is the youth population of this world is the inspiration and the soul of the organisation's ecosystem.
SBYA Global's purpose is to interpret, brainstorm and disburse the concept of Social Business among the youth and the young at heart alike. Whether they are students, activists, employees, or just dreamers, the hope is to inspire social business practices within them.
Shazeeb has worked as the inaugural CEO of Spark* Bangladesh, an Australian business accelerator programme that backs entrepreneurs to change lives. Through Spark* Shazeeb worked with thirty social entrepreneurs and helped them to break the obstacles.
Apart from this, Shazeeb is a US Department of State Alumni from Jolkona Catalyst and former One Young World Coordinating Ambassador.  Shazeeb is very promising name in the global social business scene and was a featured speaker at Social Business Day in Dhaka,  Global Social Business Summit in Berlin, Social Business Academia Conference in Paris, Pangkor Dialogue in Malaysia and many more.
Shazeeb dreams of a world where everyone has equal opportunities. He believes that our world needs more of problem solvers and now is the time when our youth generation needs to take sustainable business initiatives to solve some of the pressing global issues.
He encourages social business initiatives in the field of water, healthcare, agriculture and sustainable communities and is always looking to partner with young social entrepreneurs to create a world where everyone lives with joy.
Message to the prospective entrepreneurs...
The key difference between an entrepreneur and other is their relationship with change. One of them starts it while the other waits for it. If you think you have the solution to a pressing social issue, don't let the fear of failure stop you. You just need to start and the rest will be a journey of learning and fun.
