Recent price hike of gas

Dear Sir
Recent price hike of gas made me surprised. The gas charge of household for a single burner stove would be BDT 750 from March 1, while for double burners BDT 800, up from the current BDT 600 and BDT 650. Though, High Court intervention has delayed this process.
We know that the government had increased the price back in September 2015. In the area where I live, the gas supply remains low from morning till afternoon; it is very difficult to cook during that time. Therefore we have to cook early in the morning otherwise we have to eat at hotel.
The government also increases the price of CNG, power generation, fertilizer which will create bad impact on the life of the middle and low income people. On the other hand, the price of daily needs is increasing day by day.
We hope that without increasing price of gas, government should take some steps to stop waste and misuse of natural gas such as by setting up prepaid meters and stopping all illegal gas connection all over the country.
