Bangla TV’s first serial- A comedy

"Bou Bibi Begum" one of the first serials to be aired on the upcoming newbie satellite channel, Bangla TV is now being shot in Uttara in the capital. The first phases of the comedy serial have been completed. The second lot is ongoing. It will be aired everyday like a daily soap. Ezaz Munna is directing the comedy drama serial. The serial casts Urmila Srabonti Kor, Shaju Khadem, Al Mansur, Kusum Sikder, Mir Sabbir, Sabila Noor and more. The serial will try to bring in common comic characters from our everyday life, characters that can induce comic relief through their very attitude and body language. The drama will shed light on married couples from three generations who view the world in their distinctive age-specific ways. Bangla TV founded in 1998 in UK originally broadcasts TV programmes in Europe. The company is now preparing to launch their Bangladeshi version in this country.
