On one side, there is 'Parimal Master', a notorious teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College' who abused his student,' on the other hand, there is 'Shamol Kanti Master, the head teacher at Piyar Sattar Latif High School in Narayanganj ' who was abused by others.
In the society, there are parents who are killing their children, there is child who is killing his parents, and also there is spouse who is killing his/her partner. These are the most sensational cases considering the nature of the relationship between the victim and the killer.
Very recently we have been observing the very emergence of Young Gang Culture with its aggressive and destructive face. The perspective is that it is not about the profession or the relation, it is about the changing of mentality and human nature in the society.
Perhaps, the statistical rate of this kind of negative change is not a high one, but such a change itself is alarming because it is deviated from a normal social behavior. It clearly depicts that there is a start of shifting social paradigm meaning that the fabric construct of the society is felling down.
My previous examples are fatal, but there are some other non-fatal examples too which are proving the breakage as well. Once upon a time, teachers used to shout at students to rectify them and nowadays, they are afraid of even raising their voice to do so for the sake of their students, because some of the students have become so violent that the teacher might be beaten up by the students.
At the same time, some of the teachers have become so much self-centric and commercialized that they don't even think of the students' betterment let alone personal involvement with the students for their developments.
For other service, in most of the cases, the doctors don't even bother whether their patients are dying or getting pain or whatever but they really bother about their fees and all. Let's go to another part of the society.
Do the vegetable/fruit sellers even think of the consumers who are consuming huge amount of toxic formalin given by them? Do the retailers even think of deadly consequences of selling adulterated food or other consumer goods whether it is for adult or baby? The single answer will be 'No' for all questions.
That means some people of the society are becoming reckless. They are just thinking of their own interests. Greed has started poisoning the human souls. They do not care what is happening to others or to the country and nothing touches them. Maybe I am talking some emotional things but the reality bears the testimony of it- the change of normal human nature in our society. Extensive researches should be done to understand the reasons for such sudden shift in social paradigm.
The sooner we can take measures against such negativity in the society, the better it is for the future of our next generation society.
