Bogra’s Shahnaj among 50 ‘Global Teachers’ Prize’ winners

Shahnaj Parvin, a Bangladeshi teacher, received 'Global Teachers' Prize-2017' along with 49 others on the second day of the '5th Global Education and Skills Forum' held in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Shahanaj, a teacher of Sherpur Upazila Sadar Model Government Primary School in Bogra, received the award at the conference where Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was also present, according to a PID handout.

Maggie MacDonald of Canada secured the top position among the winners.

Education ministers from 40 countries, educationists, planners, teachers and high official concerned of 140 countries participated in the event.
