Le Méridien Dhaka initiated a day-long 'Role Reversal Program' with their associates on December 19, 2016. The role reversal is an initiative of Le Méridien Dhaka where the whole management team switched their roles for a full working day and thereby senior management takes on entry level positions.
The day-long programme was celebrated with top level management playing the roles of Doorman, Bellman, Steward, Waiter, Public Area Attendant and Assistant Technicians, while, the associates played the role of General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Housekeeper, Director of Human Resource and various other managerial roles.
On this occasion the General Manager of Le Méridien Dhaka, Ashwani Nayar, Doorman for the day as part of role-reversal event, stated, "The Role Reversal Program is learning and motivational program were management relives the life of their earlier experiences and also learn to blend in with the recent generations. On the other hand this program offers an aspirational goal to associates as they learn to appreciate the responsibility attached with senior positions in the organization".
