WMS MD & PEL Chairman exchange documents after signing an agreement

Western Marine Shipyard (WMS) Managing Director Sakhawat Hossain (2nd from left) and Pacific Eagle Limited (PEL) Chairman Jahangir Alam Khan accompanied by their relevant senior officials exchange documents after signing an agreement in Chittagong recently. Under the agreement Bangladesh's prominent shipbuilder WMS will build the country's largest fishing trawler for PEL  - a sister concern of renowned JK Group based in Chittagong. The 47-meter long trawler with capacity to carry 35o tonnes of fish, will be the largest trawler ever built in Bangladesh. The vessel will be HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) compliant, which is an international requirement in fishing vessels for exporting fish.
