Journo injured in road mishap dies

SIRAJGANJ, Jan 11: Journalist Enamul Haque Khokan, who was injured in a road accident on November 17, 2018, died under treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Enamul Haque, 60, resident of Talgachi area of Shahjadpur Upazila in Sirajganj was district correspondent of Daily Prothom Alo and also president of District Anti-Corruption Commission.
Sirajganj Press Club Organising Secretary Aminul Islam said on November 17, a car ran over Enamul at Purba Delua area on Bogra-Nagarbari Highway while he was going to his home riding his motorcycle.
He was rushed to Enayetpur Khaja Yunus Ali Medical College Hospital. Later he was shifted to Dhaka United Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
After two months of treatment he was brought home. But on Wednesday he fell sick again and was rushed to United Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
