JUJA holds best journalism award

Three working journalists of Jahangirnagar University (JU) were awarded as 'Best Journalism Award - 2108' on Saturday.
Md Nur Alam of banglanews24.com, Md Asaduz Zaman of The Daily Star and Saif Uddin Abir of Daily Manobkantha have become secured first, second and third position respectively for their best reports of 2017.
A total of 22 working journalists took part in the contest.
JU Treasurer Professor Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq distributed the award money, crest and certificates among the journalists of the university as the chief guest at a programme held at the seminar room of Zahir Raihan auditorium on Saturday evening.
Presided over by JUJA President Nur Alam Himel, JU Proctor Associate Professor Sikder Md Zulkarnine, JUJA Advisor Professor Bashir Ahmed and Registrar Rahima Kaniz addressed the function, among others.
