Four eateries fined in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Nov 10: A mobile court here fined four food shops Taka 18,000 for selling rotten and date-expired food items in Senbagh Upazila on Tuesday.
National Consumer Rights Prevention Directorate and Upazila Administration jointly conducted the drive.
Executive Magistrate of the mobile court and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shatarupa Talukder conducted the court and fined them.
During the drive, Dhaka Hotel was fined Taka 3,000, Fatema Hotel and Restaurant Taka 5,000, Al Madina Hotel and Restaurant Taka 5,000 and Taj Nehar Hotel Taka 5,000.
