Tank lorry fire injures 5

Five men were injured as a tank lorry caught fire in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj on Sunday evening.

The injured men were Md Sajib, Md Riyad, Arif, Joz Mia and Shah Alam.

Meghna petroleum tanker caught fire while unloading oil from it at a filling station in Baluakandi area of the upazila around 5.00 pm leaving four men injured, said Harun-ur-Rashid, officer-in-charge of Gazaria police station.

The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.

Two units of Fire Service Department doused the fire after two hours' effort.
