Bullet-hit bodies of 2 brothers found

The bullet-hit bodies of two brothers were recovered from Sharsha and Keshabpur upazilas of Jashore on Sunday morning.
The victims were identified as Azizul Haq, 45, and Faruk Hossain, 50, sons of late Jeher Ali of Jamtola in Sharsha upazila, reports UNB.
Another bother of the victims, Shaidul Islam, said the duo remained missing since they left home for going to a local bazaar on Saturday evening.
Later, they informed Sharsha police about it.
Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station, said it is suspected that there was a gunfight between two groups of drug traders that left Azizul dead on the spot.
On information, a team of police went to Samta village and recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Azizul was accused in several narcotics-related cases, the OC added.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Faruk from Rampur area, said Mohammad Shahin, officer-in-charge of Keshabpur Police Station.
Police found an injury mark on the neck of the victim and said it was not a bullet wound.
Sohel identified the two bodies at Jessore General Hospital, police said.
Sohel claimed that his brother Azizul was a soil trader and he lost his two hands in a bomb blast long ago.
