AFC U-16 Girls' Championship QualifiersLebanon U-16 girls had stunned Bahrain by a big 8-0 margin in their opening match in Group-F of AFC Under-16 Girls' Championship Qualifiers 2019 on Saturday at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mustafa Kamal Stadium, Kamalapur in Dhaka.
In the other match of the group, Vietnam had registered a 4-0 win over United Arab Emirates at the same venue.
In the Lebanon-Bahrain match, Lebanon booter Nathalie Abed made a hat-trick netting three goals, Sophie Fayad made a brace while Christy Maalouf, Cynthia Salha and Jana Korjieh netted one goal each.
In the other match, Vietnam scorer Tram netted two when Nhi and Thuong scored one goal each to win the match.
Host junior Tigresses didn't have any match on the opening day. They will face Bahrain girls in their first match on Monday at 3.30pm at the same venue.
A total of five teams including Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Lebanon and host Bangladesh are playing in the Group-F of the qualifiers.
