3 bullet-hit bodies identified

Police came to know the identities of three bullet-hit bodies, found in Rupganj of Narayanganj on Friday morning.
Relatives of the victims, however, claimed that the trio remained missing since Wednesday after law enforcers identifying themselves as DB oficials picked them up from a bus.
All the victims were residents in capital Dhaka.
The dead are : M Sohag, 32, son of Shahidullah of Mohakhali; Shimul,30, son of Abdul Mannan; and Noor Hossain alias Babu, 30, son of Abdul Wahab Mia. Shimul and Babu were brothers-in-law and residents of Mugda.
Relatives identified the bodies in Rupganj Police Station.
Victim Sohag's brother Shaon told media that his brother went went to travel on Wednesday and he was missing since then.
A father of a 10-year-old child, Sohag was a cable operator and did fast food business.
Shimul's wife Ayesha Akhter Anni said plainclothes police picked up her husband and others from a bus at Daulatdia ghat on Wednesday.
They were taken in a microbus and a car. Since then, Shimul's cell phone was switched off, she added.
On information, Anni rushed to Rupganj Police Station and identified her dead husband, who was a trader.
Moniruzzaman Monir, Rupganj Police Station OC, said bullet marks were found in the heads and bodies of the victims.
some 65 Yaba tablets were also found in one of victims' pocket, he said.
But, the OC did not confirm if the victims were accused in any case.
