Youth peace film 2018: Call for application
For the first time in Bangladesh, Films 4 Peace, a non-profit foundation, is going to organise Participatory Film Making Programme for promoting inclusive governance through Youth Peace Films. The focus is on inclusive governance where the organisation shines the light on the powerful youth who boldly express their untold stories through the medium of film for promoting peace, says a press release.
Participatory Film Making Programme will select 25 youth regardless of gender, religion and ethnicity. Selected youth group will be divided in 5 different groups. Workshop funded by the Films 4 Peace will cover --- A 2-day training on technical matters of films and 1-day long training on storytelling.
Each group will come up with their compelling script and engage actively within their own communities to make their community a better place than they found it. Action, engagement and participation are our bywords.
Youth, age from 18-30, who are passionate about film making on inclusive governance, peace and tolerance, are asked to submit their CV along with a detailed motivation letter as to why the applicant must be selected and fill up the online application form.
