ACC reveals Tigers practice itinerary in Dubai
The Bangladesh national cricket team reached Dubai on September 9 and started sweating from the following day. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) brought Tigers daily practice session detail to light till the ACC Asia Cup 2018 begins.
Tigers seen at ICC Academy (ICCA) on Monday evening in practice, who also were earnest in preparatory camp on Tuesday.
Mashrafe and co. will get opportunity to carry on their exercise every day at Dubai Sports City of the ICCA. Today, Tigers will get four hours to practice, while they will share three practice hours in following two days with Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively at the same academy.
The biggest Asian cricket fest going to kick off on September 15 in the Dubai International stadium and the stadium authority are all set for the cricket saga. The Chief Curator of Dubai International Stadium Toby Lumsden said, "I think for the upcoming Asia Cup with the high quality teams that we have got coming. We plan on producing good cricket wickets,"
Lumsden clued that they are working to deliver a high scoring wicket during Asia Cup. "Traditionally first innings scores have been 260. Hopefully, we can build on that and make them a little higher pushing for about 270," he added.
Bangladesh will get Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in group-A, while India, Pakistan and Hong Kong will be playing in group-B. The six-nation tournament kicks off on September 15 with the match between the defending runner-up Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Tigers will take on Afghanistan on September 20 in their last group round battle.
