FF Badiul’s wife dies

Jebunnessa Begum, wife of freedom fighter Badiul Alam, died in Dhaka on Friday morning.

The 88 years old breathed her last at DOHS Baridhara residence in the city.

She left behind 7 daughters, 2 sons, grand sons and daughters, and well wishers to mourn her death.

Her first namaz-e-janaza was held on Friday at Baridhara DOHS mosque and second was held at Chittagong Bahaddarhat mosque on Staurday. She will be laid to rest at her ancestral home at Fatenagar Shikder Bari after third namaz-e-janaza.

Mentionable, advocate Badiul Alam was the president of Chittagong district Awami League during liberation war and then president of Chittagong South district Jatiyo Somajtantrik Dal (JSD).
