JVF's free health camp for rural school children
Justice Vision Foundation - JVF, a non-profit humanitarian organization, organized a free health medical treatment for the students of primary and secondary schools in Keraniganj Upazila in collaboration with Lions International.
The organization has been running the camp since May 05. JVF is providing free dental, dermal and eye checkup and medication in the schools permitted by the local authority and UNO of the upazila.
Till now, JVF has been able to provide health service to almost 1143 students in three schools namely Ati Bhawal Uchcha Madhamik Bidyalaya, Kalatia High School and Keranigonj Primary School, which will continue until all the listed schools are finished.
Since 2016, the organization ran the health camps in different slums of the capital, even provided various health hygienic materials. Besides, they stretched their hands to the land slide victims of Bandarban area in 2016 and 2017.
JVF is doing all these activities with the subscriptions from its volunteers and initiator, without any financial help from internal or external donours.
'We are trying to provide the same service to other areas except Keraniganj like Mymensingh, Tangail, Narayanganj and others,' said JVF's Chairman Sayeda Ferdous Ahmed.
Mentionable, JVF started its journey on July 17, 2015 with an aim to support marginalized people, especially women and children, of Bangladesh with full potentials.
