BCB commemorates National Mourning Day

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) venerated the National Mourning Day with elaborative initiatives on August 15, the day when the father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family members had been assassinated brutally in 1975.
BCB distributes quality foods among Orphans on the day. The highest cricket authority of the country also distributed foods among afflicted community in the city this year.  BCB President Nazmul Hasan distributed foods among the indigent people. Nazmul Hasan said, "No other day can be as mourning as 15 August is. Such cruel and barbarian killings never took place in the country."
After foods distribution, BCB president attended Dua-Mahfil along with other board officials. They also observed one-minute silence to show respect to the departed soul of Bangabandhu.
