Stocks end with downward trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed downward trend on the first trading day of the week on Sunday.

On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 818.39 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,407 points increasing 18 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,235 points declining 9 points.

The DS30 index declined 63 points to stand at 1,892 points.

Of the issues traded today, 95 advanced, 209 declined and 33 remained unchanged.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) stood at Tk 46.50 crore today.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - declined 8 points stood at 16,621 points.

Of the issues traded, 82 gained, 148 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
