'E Juger Aladin', is a drama that adapts the character Aladin of Arab lores to fit contemporary surrounding. The drama will be staged on August 11 at 7pm. Muktalay Natyangan will present the drama at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium, Jatiya Mahilla Samity in Baily Road. This is the ninth production from Muktalay Natyangan. Aminul Haque has directed the drama while Sheikh Alauddin has written it.
The drama is about the present times that are full of conman, backstabbers, opportunists, greedy men. In these times being truthful, benevolent, ethical is like being a fool. Aladin is such a fool. And the drama focuses on him and his selfless activities. But his employee Fatik is like others, keen to rob as much as possible. Though he seemingly favours Aladin's approaches he actually wants only his own good. By tricking Aladin consistently he renders Aladin penniless. Loosing everything Alading comes across the fabled "Lamp" and rubs it. Out comes the giant with precious goldcoins. But Fatik even tries to steal these gold. Whether he would succeed or not will be only learnt on August 11.
Actors of the drama are Madhuri Khandakar, director Aminul Haque himself, Shefali Kusum, Ashikun Nabi, Mahmud Hasan, Asma Alam, Golam Kibria, Sakila Mitu, Mofizur Rahman, Shamal Biswas, Farhan Mridha, Kohinoor Islam etc.
