Stocks witness down

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the first trading day of the week with downward trend in both indices and turnover on Sunday.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 407.72 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,323 points decreasing 45 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,229 points downed 8 points.

The DS30 index also declining 24 points to stand 1,954 points.

Of the issues traded today, 107 advanced, 189 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also stood at Tk 35.62 crore today.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - declined 152 points to stand 16,397 points.

Of the issues traded, 59 gained, 138 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
