Masihuzzaman Serniabat new Air Chief

Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat has been made the new Chief of Air Staff, according to a Defence Ministry notification on Tuesday.  
His tenure will start from June 12 for three years, an ISPR release said. Masihuzzaman Serniabat, who is going to replace the outgoing Air Chief Air Marshal Abu Esrar, will remain Air Chief till June 12, 2021.  The new Air chief will be promoted to Air Marshal rank with effect from June  12, 2018 afternoon.  The outgoing Air Chief Air Marshal Abu Esrar will retire on June 12, the notification said.
