Sri Lanka thrash Bangladesh by 6 wickets

Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in the first match of two-match T20I series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.

Visiting Sri Lanka played 17.04 overs and lost four wickets to reach the target 194 runs set by Bangladesh. 

Through this win, the team of Chandika Hathurusingha advanced 1-0 in the two-match T20I series.

Earlier, the tigers scored 193 runs, the highest record in T20 cricket for Bangladesh so far, losing five wickets in stipulated 20 overs. 

Two half centuries from Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim helped Bangladesh to make a challenging score.
