Expatriate stabbed dead in Feni

Feni: An expatriate was stabbed to death allegedly by robbers at his in-law's house at Pathan Nagar village in Chhagalnaiya upazila early Thursday.

Deceased Md Mostafa, 30, was an expatriate living in Saudi Arabia. He was the son of late Monir Ahmed, a resident of Dharmapur village in Fulgazi upazila, said Chhagalnaiya Police Station officer in-charge M M Morshed.

Local sources said a gang of 10/15 robbers stormed the house of Nurul Haque around 3:00am. They stabbed Haque's son-in-law Mostafa when he intercepted them from looting gold ornaments, leaving Mostafa critically injured.  

Mostafa was rushed to Feni Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, the OC also said, the OC added.
