Stars cleanup FDC to encourage cleaning up of whole country

Building on the idea that he who loves himself, loves his country as well film actors went on a cleanliness drive on the Valentine's Day yesterday. Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti organised the awareness campaign in and around Bangladesh Film Development Corporation. Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti President and reputed actor Misha Sawdagar, Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti General Secretary Zayed Khan, actors Riaz, Ferdous, Rubel, Rojina, Nuton, Poppy, Keya, Odhora Khan were the stars of the campaign.
Dhaka North City Corporation and 'Dettol Channel i Porichchonno Bangladesh powered by Harpic' campaign assisted in the programme. As such the campaign was also participated by Dhaka North City Corporation Panel Mayor Osman Gani, former BGMEA President and reputed businessman Atikul Islam, BFDC Managing Director Amir Hossain, DNCC Chief Waste Management Officer Commodore Razzak, Marketing Director of Reckitt Benckiser Syed Tanzim Rezwan. Senior officials of City Corporation and Reckitt Benckiser with actors old and new also took part in the programme.
Misha Sawdagar emphasised on the need of cleanliness stating, "It has also been stated in our religion that, cleanliness is a part of faith. So we have to keep our country clean by keeping ourselves clean".
Riaz said, "The motto of this cleanup drive is 'Mon Sundor Jar, Se Rakhe Desh Porishkar'. If we are just a little more caring, we can keep our beloved country clean and beautiful".
Zayed Khan said, "Artists are parts of a family and FDC is their home. That's why we are cleaning our house. We want to urge you to keep your surroundings clean as concerned citizens, that way we can keep the whole country clean".
Poppy said, "Our viewers love us. That is why if we send them any message they accept it. So we are sending this message of cleanliness and hygiene. For that we have to work towards raising a 'Porichchonno Bangladesh'".
To make people aware about the importance good health and cleanliness, Dettol and Channel i jointly have started 'Porichchonno Bangladesh Campaign' on February, 2017. The campaign launched its theme song 'Mon Shundor Jar, Shei Rakhe Desh Porishkar' on the occasion of Victory Day of Bangladesh last year. This song was sung by the famous band 'Chirkutt'. Ten episodes of 'Dettol-Channel i Porichchonno Bangladesh powered by Harpic' campaign started from December 30, 2017 and is being telecasted on every Saturday on 'Channel i'.
