Khaleda given facilities under jail code, says Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduz-zaman Khan Kamal on Wednesday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was provided facilities under the jail code.
Refuting the allegation that Khaleda Zia was kept in an unhealthy condition in jail, the Home Minister said she has been kept in a new building that was used as a day care centre and she has been given all facilities under the jail code.
"As the building was used as a central jail, it can, in no way, be unsafe," headded. The Minister talking to reporters after the 23rd founding anniversary programme of Bangladesh Coast Guard at Coast Guard headquarters at Agargaon in the capital on Wednesday.
Regarding the visit of Myanmar home minister, Kamal said they will discuss on the Rohingya repatriation process and the progress on 10-point declaration that was inked during his visit to Myanmar.
The Home minister assured the reporters that the culprits behind the question leak spree will be brought to justice.
