Poor students get scholarship in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Jan 13: On the occasion of 31st founding anniversary of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission, scholarship was distributed on Friday among poor students at Model High School Auditorium in Sonaimuri Upazila of the district.
Blankets were also distributed among the distress cold-hit people of the district.
Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Upazila President Mohammad Jasimuddin presided over the meeting.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Rabiul Faisal was present as chief guest while Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Mostafa Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Sonaimuri thana Ismail Miah, Model High School President Mahfuzur Rahman were present as special guests.
Among others, Human Rights Commission General Secretary Belal Hossain Patwari, Senior Vice-president Abdul Awal, Joint secretaries  Mohammad Mohinuddin, Azaduddin Biplob, Treasurer Nasiruddin Hiron, Publicity Secretary Hasanur Rashid and member Rubina Yasmin, were also present.
