All community clinics remain closed in Rajshahi on Monday
RAJSHAHI, January 13: Community Health Care Providers (CHCP) Association has announced to close all the community clinics in Rajshahi on Monday, January 15. The organization has made this announcement to demand the nationalization of jobs of CHCP working in all the community clinics of Rajshahi division.
The announcement was made at a press conference at a restaurant adjacent to New Market in Rajshahi city on Friday noon. Apart from closing all the community clinics here, they announced a sit in program in front of their respective Civil Surgeon Office on Jan 16. They will go on a hunger strike in Dhaka if their demands would not meet within January 20.
They announced various programs from the press conference. They will support the program of the Chittagong division, and will remain closed all types of report on January 15.
Afaz Uddin Liton, convener of the Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh CHCP Association at the press conference said, "The community clinic is the main means of reaching the healthcare services to the public very easily. About 14,000 of employees are working in these clinics. Of whom there are about 4,000 children of freedom fighters. Despite working relentlessly, their jobs are not being fixed. For this reason, about 14,000 families are being deprived of all facilities provided by the government, including incentives, entertainment and tranquility. As a result, it is not possible to lead a life with their family. "
