Five found dead in five districts

At least five persons were found dead in five districts- Rajshahi, Pabna, Munshiganj, Feni and Jamalpur, in two days.
RAJSHAHI: Police recovered an unidentified old man's body from a ditch near Bangla Track Cricket Academy at Kapasia area in the city on Thursday noon.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Motihar Police Station (PS) Mehedi Hasan confirmed the incident. He said local people saw the body aged about 65 at the said area at noon and informed police.
Police recovered and sent the body to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, the OC also said.
No injury mark was found on the body while an unnatural death case was filed with the Motihar PS in this connection, the OC added.
PABNA: Police recovered a minor's body from Chawkpara Village under Bera Upazila here early Thursday after he went missing on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Tamim, son of Monsur Ali, of the village.
Bera PS OC Mohammad Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the matter.
He said the child disappeared after Maghrib prayers on Wednesday. His body was found early Thursday behind their house.
Police primarily suspected that he was killed over previous enmity, the OC added.
MUNSHIGANJ: Police recovered a youth's body near Hasara bus stand adjacent to Dhaka-Mawa Highway on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Akkas Ali, 35, son of Md Amzad Ali, of Bagichapur Village in Nalitabari Upazila of Sherpur District.
Inspector of Srinagar Police Station of Munshiganj district Farid Uddin said locals rescued injured Akkas from the area and rushed him to Srinagar Upazila Health Complex.
The doctor of the health complex referred him to Dhaka for better treatment but he died on the way to Dhaka, the inspector added.
The body was sent to Munshiganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said the inspector.
FENI: Police recovered a businessman's body beside a canal at Balua Chowmuhany Bazaar under Sadar Upazila here on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sharif, 32, son of late Ayub Ali, of Mohammadpur Village under Dhalia Union in the upazila and tea-stall owner in front of Diabetes Hospital in Feni town.
Police and locals said local people saw the body at the said area and informed the police.
Police recovered and sent the body to Feni Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The deceased's nephew Md Haidar Ali said his uncle had been in conflict with his stepbrothers over land dispute for a long time.
Inspector of Feni Model PS Rashed Khan Chowdhury confirmed the incident and said they did not find any injury mark on the body primarily, but the cause of the death would be clear after getting the autopsy report.
JAMALPUR: Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered body of a rickshaw puller beside rail track near Melandah Station here on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as Mohammad Omar, 32, son of Obar Ali, of Tonger Alga Village in Islampur Upazila, used to pull rickshaw in Dhaka.
Locals found the rickshaw puller lying dead near the rail track in the morning and informed the railway police.
Later, the body was recovered and sent to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Rashedul Islam, sub-inspector of Jamalpur Railway PS.
Omar might have died after falling from a Dewanganj-bound train from Dhaka, said the SI.
