Govt working to create ICT-enabled manpower: Joy

Prime Minister's ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy has said that creating ICT-enabled manpower will be the biggest challenge for building up digital Bangladesh.
"To face the challenges, the government has taken up programmes and is now working on it," he told a ministerial conference at the "Digital World 2017" at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) on Thursday. He said many programmes have been undertaken by the government to create the required manpower.
Joy, also the son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, made a presentation on the "Fourth Industrial Revolution" at the conference, attended by State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Minister for Information and Communication of Bhutan Dina Nath Dungyel, Chief Advisor of Prime Minister of Congo Diedonne Kalombo Nkile, State Minister for Post and Telecommunication of Cambodia Kan Channmeta, Deputy Minister for Defence and National Security of Maldives Thariq Ali Luthufi, and Director of the ICT Department of Philippines Nestor S Bongota.     -UNB
