Comilla to face Dhaka for final berth today
Rangpur and Khulna lock horns to survive the eliminator

Comilla Victorians will face Dhaka Dynamites in the first qualifier of AKS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 in the second match on Friday to book the ticket of the final at 7:00pm at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
On the other hand, Rangpur Riders and Khulna Titans will lock horns in the eliminator to survive for one more chance to seal the final berth in the first match on the day at 2:00pm.
Comilla Victorians ended the league round as the top team with 18 points while winning the last match against Rangpur; Dhaka Dynamites sealed the second place with 15 points. Khulna Titans also gathered 15 points in the league round but Dynamites are head in terms of net run rate. Rangpur ended the league round as the fourth team with 12 points.
The winner of the first qualifier will directly go to the final and loser will get one more chance. The loser of the qualifier one will face the winner of the eliminator.
Rangpur and Khulna who will play in the eliminator will try their best to win the match to play the qualifier two to seal the final berth.
In the group stage, Khulna and Rangpur faced each other twice. Khulna won the first match against riders by nine runs while Rangpur won the second match by 19 runs. So the match will be kind of decider between these two teams.
Khulna have some big hitters like Carlos Brathwaite and Ariful Haque while Mahmudullah is the pillar of their middle order. In bowling department, Abu Jayed is one of the leading bowlers of the tournament.
Rangpur have big names like Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum who are enough to change the match anytime while Shahriar Nafees and Mithun can also lead the batting. With the bowl they have skipper Mashrafe, Rubel Hossain and Lasith Malinga to lead.
Dhaka and Comilla, on the other hand, also faced twice and Comilla Victorians won both the matches. Comilla won the first match by four wickets and won the second one by 12 runs.
There is good news for the Dynamites. Their skipper who was struggling with the bat scored better in the last match and led with the bat to end the round phase at the second place.
Apart from Shakib, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Shahid Afridi, Kumar Sangakkara or Mohammad Amir can also chance the game. Narine can play a vital role with both bat and ball.
Comilla, on the other hand, have Tamim, Samuels, Mohammad Saifuddin, Imrul, Shoaib Malik and some more big hitters in the team. In bowling they have Rashid Khan and Hasan Ali to lead the bowling unit.
