Three-day SME fair starts in Ctg tomorrow

CHITTAGONG, Dec 7: Aiming at promoting access to finance in SME (Small and medium-sized enterprises), a three day-long ' 2nd International SME Fair will begin in the port city from tomorrow (Saturday).
Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is organizing the SME fair at World Trade Center.
In this connection a press conference was held at Bangabandu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman conference hall in World Trade Center this morning.
Commerce Minister Eng Mosharraf Hossain, Minister of Housing and Public Works will be present as the chief guest to inaugurate the fair, the press conference was told.
CCCI President Mahabubul Alam said,  the objective of arranging the fair are to provide necessary guidelines and inform about the SME of existing loan facilities for entrepreneur, to inform about local products to consumers, creating new entrepreneurs, and giving information to  easy access to finance for their flourish and direct interaction between the bankers and borrowers.
