Bourses end week down

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continued downward trend for secend consecutive day on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 517.12 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 6,282 points decreasing 18 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,389 points declining 1 point.

The DS30 index also declined 7 points to stand 2,264 points.

Of the issues traded today, 138 advanced, 145 declined and 46 remained unchanged.

In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), turnover stood at Tk 22.88 crore.  

Selective Category Index - CSCX - lessining 60 points to stand at around 19,319 points.

Of the issues traded, 100 gained, 107 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
