4 BCL men of Rajshahi IHT expelled;Committee dissolved

Bangladesh Chhatra League has dissolved the Rajshahi Institute of Health Technology (IHT) unit committee  and expelled four leaders following Wednesday's attack on female students.

The expelled leaders are : IHT unit BCL president Zahidul Islam, general secretary Anwar Hossain and vice presidents Mizanur Rahman and Faisal Ahmed.

Rajshahi city BCL president Rocky Kumar Ghosh told media that a letter recommending expulsion of the four leaders were sent to the central leaders on Wednesday night.

The central committee expelled them at 11pm.

At the same time, the 51-member IHT committee was dissolved.

Meanwhile, the authorities have declared the institute closed for an indefinite period following the attack that also left five female students injured.
