Two killed in road mishaps

At least two persons were killed in separate road accidents in two districts- Bogra and Dinajpur, on Tuesday.
BOGRA: A motorcyclist was crushed under a truck at Charmatha Bus Stand area of the town on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rezaul Karim, 42, son of late Asir Uddin Paikar, of Dakkhin Shikarpur Village in Sadar Upazila.
In-Charge of Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College police outpost Ashutosh Mitra said following the accident, the motorcyclist was seriously injured.
He was rushed to the hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
DINAJPUR: An auto-van passenger was killed in a collision between the van and a goods-laden truck on Dinajpur-Bogra highway near Ghoraghat forest office in Ghoraghat Upazila here on Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Jonab Ali, 70, son of late Jasmat Ali, of Nasirabad Village under Gobindaganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj District.
Eyewitnesses and police said following the accident, the man was killed on the spot.
