Editor of 'Dainik Purbokone' passes away

Chittagong: Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, the editor of 'Dainik Purbokone' passed away on Wednesday morning at a hospital in Dhaka.

The 63-years-old journalist breathed his last around 6:45 am, said Mohammad Ali, a senor journalist of the daily published from Chittagong.

Family sources said architect Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, hailed from Raozan upazila of the district, had been suffering from incurable diseases for long, reports UNB.

He was survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.

Chittagong Press Club, Chittagong Journalists Association and Metropolitan Journalists Union leaders expressed their profound shock at the death of Purbokone editor.
