Loko Natyadal's new drama on Liberation War

Loko Natyadal (Banani) has produced a new stage drama titled "Thikana". The drama was originally written by Utpal Dutt in 1971. Having its focus on the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 the drama also had its premiere during the war on August 2 in 1971 in Kolkata. It has been adapted for Loko Natyadal by Dr Pranabnanda Chakraborty. Loko Natyadal hopes to introduce the drama in the month of victory that is December.
This is the 28th production of Loko Natyadal. Crew members of the drama include Eugine Gomez, Avijit Chowdhury, Kamrun-nur-Chowdhury, Jahidur Rahman Piplu, Mujahidul Haque Lenin and Abdullah-Al-Harun.
Started in 1981 Loko Natyadal has produced dramas of playwrights from a variety of origins. William Shakespeare, Euripides, Moliere, Bertolt Brecht, Gao Xingjian on one hand and Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Munier Chowdhury, Manik Bandopadhyay, Buddhadeb Bosu, Mohit Chattopadhyay, Manoj Mitra on another have been relived by Loko Natyadal.
