Abysmal latitude

Epistemic oracle is in continual dissent; my mortal race has deigned
the mother earth to this bedlam; lunatic brink,
where so called human would become soulless humanoid
and thus far, otherwise untainted sanity would shrink.

We talk about stars and heavens, "Garden of Eden",
heavenly elixir, potion, and divine honey;
holy remembrance with rosary is never far-flung,
and we are regular at rendering hearth money.

We preach about obsequious credence and sacrosanct God,
expound the reverence of the inviolable deities and mystical saints.
Incessant absence of guilt loiters, cognizance never flicks, when
semblance of sermons lose glow to ember; devoid of constraints.

Innocent and innocence are denigrated, slaughtered,
guilt and guilty are insidiously rewarded.
Dichotomy of these good and evil have interminable leeway;
has become norm, status quo and boarded;

Equity isn't a na?ve figment; intrinsically virtuous! Anticipated naturally!
Midst of this chasm, my soul refuses to dwell in tranquility.
 In this abysmal latitude of iniquitous milieu; malevolence to humanity,
my quintessence is perturbed, dolorous; yearning for bliss! Serenity!
