Indian Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan arrives in Dhaka today (Sunday) on a three-day visit to Bangladesh.
Several proposals for cooperation both in the private and public sector, including petroleum, LPG and LNG sectors are under consideration of the two sides.
Pradhan, arriving here at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart Nasrul Hamid, will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, according to the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
It said bilateral cooperation in the energy sector between Bangladesh and India has been steadily increasing over the last few years.
During his stay here, Pradhan will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and have bilateral meetings with his counterpart and other interlocutors here.
