Bangladesh ace all rounder Shakib Al Hasan and wonder boy pacer Mustafizur Rahman departed for India to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will start from April 9, on Tuesday.
Mustafiz flew on Tuesday afternoon while Shakib left Dhaka at night. Shakib will play for Kolkata Knight Riders as they extended the deed with Shakib while Mustafiz will role his arm for Sunrisers Hyderabad, who included Mustafiz in the player's draft of this edition of IPL.
It will be the first appearance of Mustafiz in the IPL. But he has no worry or fear to play in the mega event for the first time.
On Tuesday Mustafiz came to BCB to collect his NOC and talked to the media.
He said, "Actually I am not frightened. I am going alone to play IPL that creates some scare. But I have no fear to play there. I want to play as like as I have been playing."
Shakib and Mustafiz will play in different team and Mustafiz have a woe of it.
He said, "It would be better if I have Shakib (in the same team). When we play for the national team we stay as brothers. He always takes my care as a elder brother. If we can play there together it would be better."
The pacer from Satkhira also has the excitement of playing against Shakib.
"I will feel better when I will play against his team. I will meet him, can spend time with him and talk with him."
