The students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) formed a human chain on the campus on Monday protesting Tonu murder. The participants of the demonstration programme demanded capital punishment for the rapists and murderers of Shohagi Jahan Tonu, a student of Comilla Victoria College, brutally killed after being raped in Comilla Cantonment area.
A large number of students and faculties of SAU were present at the human chain, carrying placards and festoons, demanding capital punishment of the perpetrators.
