Two accused Mehedi Hasan and Khorshed Alam in the case of killing of an 11-year-old boy, Abdullah at Keraniganj, gave a confessional statement before a Judicial Magistrate on Sunday afternoon.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Shahinur Rahaman recorded the confessional statement of the duo and after recording the statements, the Magistrate sent them to jail.
Keraniganj Model Police Station, Sub-Inspector Md Shafiqul Alam and also Investigation Officer of the case, produced them before the chamber of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Shahinur Rahaman with a prayer to record the confessional statements of the duo.
The court sources said that the duo confessed to the magistrate that they along with Motahar was involved in the abduction and murder of the boy for ransom.
On February 3, a Dhaka court remanded four accused - Mehedi Hasan, his sister Mitu Akhter, their neighbours- Khorshed Alam and Al Amin Mahmud.
