Agricultural Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury inaugurated a day-long Agro-Biz-Expo 2016 at East West University as the chief guest on Wednesday. Organised by the Agro Industrialisation Club of the university the event was held at the faculty lounge.
International Affairs Adviser to Prime Minister Dr. Gowher Rizvi was the special guest at the inaugural ceremony. The daylong event comprising of an exposition was followed by a seminar. It event was organised for all the agro-based clubs of all the private universities in the country.
The event was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees & Founder Vice Chancellor of East West University and former governor of Bangladesh Bank
The products were displayed and information was provided by the participants from ACI, Unilever, Nestle, PRAN, Square, Golden Harvest, Bloop, Peerless and Chaldal participated in the day-long exposition called Agro-Biz-Expo 2016, where they displayed and provided information of their products.
The seminar was held on "Agricultural Economy and Potential Bangladesh".
