Seminar on Islamic education held at JnU

A seminar titled 'Evaluation of Bangabandhu's Contribution to Islamic Education' was held on Thursday at the central auditorium of Jagannath University (JnU), a press release said.
Organised by JnU Islamic Studies Department, JnU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman spoke as chief guest at the event while Islamic Foundation Director General Shamim Mohammad Afzal was present as chief discussant.
JnU Islamic Studies Department Chairperson Prof Dr Mohammad Abdul Adud chaired the seminar while the department's Assistant Prof Mostafa Kamal presented key-note paper.
JnU Treasurer Prof Md Selim Bhuiyan, Science Faculty Dean Prof Md Ashraf-ul-alam, Islamic Foundation Director Dr Khijir Hayat, JnU unit BCL President FM Shariful Islam and its General Secretary SM Sirazul Islam, among others, took part in the event.
